Kwikspace has supplied prefabricated buildings to a remote accommodation camp for workers and contractors working on a vital road construction project in Lesotho.
Forty prefabricated buildings have been rented for a 20-month period, providing accommodation for approximately 200 workers. These consist of 3m x 6m site offices, 3m x 12m sleeper units (with two bedrooms), en-suite ablutions, kitchenettes, and laundry facilities.
Despite the remote location, the project was completed within six weeks, overcoming considerable logistical challenges and adverse weather conditions.
“The company centres on market and customer needs. With more than 50 years’ experience, and the largest rental fleet of modular buildings in Africa and has the capabilities and knowledge to deliver large projects on time and in budget,” as Kwikspace’s Hennie Groenewald explains.
The company offers built-to-purpose, quality prefabricated solutions for remote camps – from executive accommodation, en-suite ablutions, and kitchenettes, to offices, classrooms, and storage space.
