The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to advance the transformation agenda within the social housing sector by empowering women to lead and manage accredited Social Housing Institutions and Other Delivery Agents, as well as to deliver strategically located quality rental homes for qualifying South African citizens. The MoU will be practically implemented and measured through a cooperation plan that clearly outlines activities as well as timeframes that will be implemented as part of the partnership.

Keynote speakers include SHRA chairperson Bathabile Dlamini; SAWIC + BE President Kile Mteto; and SHRA Sector Development and Transformation Specialist Dudu Phoswa.

The occasion also marks International Women’s Day.
