Over the next few days, about 175 beneficiaries of the Pelican Park housing development, including pensioners, will receive the title deeds to their new state-subsidised breaking new ground homes.
Cllr Brett Herron, the City of Cape Town’s mayoral committee member for Transport and Urban Development, will commence the handover of the title deeds during a special ceremony today (Wednesday) by congratulating pensioners, including a 95-year-old woman, who are empowered as first-time property owners.
